"The man who does not read good books is no better than the man who can’t."
— Mark Twain
Brett over at The Art of Manliness has compiled a list of 100 Must-Read Books for manly men. Quickly browsing through the list, I’ve been through many of these over the years, including books by Machiavelli, George Orwell, Thoreau, Plato, Aristotle, Hemingway, Steinbeck, Ayn Rand, Jack Kerouac, Norman Maclean, and Erich Maria Remarque. A few of these were read for college courses; most were read out of personal interest.
If you haven’t read many (or any) of the books on this list, consider adding some to your own reading project. You’ll be a better person for it.
