Make Your Life Better with Google Reader

If you read some amount of content from blogs and you’re not using a feed reader to do it, you really should. My favorite reader is the free Google Reader and it helps me easily manage much of the content I read online. Google has some short YouTube videos, including the one below, to help you quickly learn how to use Reader.
Here’s another short (one minute!) video from the folks at Common Craft that explains how to use Reader as well:

hi michael,
i’m currently using shrook. any compelling why reasons you prefer google reader? is it the universal access?
Not familiar with shrook but I tried some sort of RSS reader for Mac a couple years ago; didn’t like having everything “local.”
I started on Bloglines and eventually migrated to Google Reader. I prefer having a web-based reader, and I like Reader’s ability to easily save, tag, and share posts with others. Plus it integrates well with my Googly lifestyle–Gmail, Gdocs, etc.
